Hi! I'm Katy Bakker

A little  about me. I was born in Calgary AB, but mostly grew up through out Ontario. I have been a military spouse for 20 years. Which came with a couple postings. Got to live in  beautiful Halifax NS, then back to Ontario to be closer to family, and now in St. Albert AB.  I am a mom of two pre teen boys. For the last 12 years I have been a stay at home mom. I have a passion for fitness, mostly weight training., music and wildlife/animals. My love for photography started with looking at all the amazing photos in the National Geographic magazines. I wanted to take photos like that. Then I got my 1st film camera, and my love for photography was really solidified. I love learning and trying new things. Guess I would call myself a Lifestyle & Freelance  photographer. I don't have a set niche, I am into all sorts of Photography genres.
